Hawley Makes 500th Save in Lee Girls' Win

LEE, Mass. -- Brianna Hawley made eight saves, including the 500th in her career, to backstop the Lee girls soccer team to a 3-1 win over Mount Everett on Senior Day.
 
Shannon Finnegan scored a pair of unassisted goals in the first half to give Lee a 2-0 lead.
 
After Madeline VonRuden scored in the fourth minute of the second half to get the Eagles (3-9-1) within a goal, Hadley DeVarennes gave Lee some insurance.
 
Madeline Ullrich stopped 20 shots for Mount Everett. The Eagles host Taconic next Monday.
 
Lee (6-8) goes to Drury on Thursday.
