Drury's McGrath Named South Division MVP

After leading the Drury High girls soccer team to the Berkshire County South Division title in the Fall 2 season, Blue Devils junior Kayla McGrath was named the league's most valuable player in a vote of the five coaches.
 
McGrath is joined by four of her teammates on the all-South first team, giving Drury the most selections of any squad.
 
In addition to McGrath at forward, the Blue Devils placed junior midfielder Elli Miles, junior back Sam Kogut, senior back Caroline Cellana and senior keeper Mackenzie Dobbert on the first team.
 
Rounding out the all-league first unit are: Hoosac Valley's Sydni Jamros, Annie Canales and Lilly Boudreau; Lee's Lena Simone, Caroline Maloney and Emma Puleri; Mount Everett's Hudah goy Nkulu and Makenzie Ullrich; and Taconic's Tiffin Martin, Jocelyn Cote and Ashley Armstrong.
 
The South coaches also named an all-league second team. Honorees were: Drury's Madeline Nesbit and Alyssa Russell; Hoosac Valley's Samantha Loholdt and Abigail Hugger; Lee's Carly McElroy and Hannah Simmons; Mount Everett's Emma Nardi and Emma Goewey; and Taconic's Kyleigh Pannesco and Evonne Barrent.
