Monument Mountain Rebounds from First Loss

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Iris Firth and Mercedes Raifstanger each scored a goal Wednesday to lead the Monument Mountain girls soccer team to a 2-0 win over Hoosac Valley.

Sophia Curletti assisted on Firth's game-winner.

The Spartans (6-1) head to Chicopee on Friday.

Hoosac Valley (0-5-1) host Easthampton on Friday.
