GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Iris Firth had a hat trick and assisted on a pair of goals Tuesday to lead the Monument Mountain girls soccer team to a 7-4, win over Drury.

The Spartans broke a 3-3 tie with three straight goals to take control of the match.

The go-ahead goal came from Firth with an assist from Jade Nelson.

Nelson then set up Mercedes Raifstanger for a goal to make it 5-3 before the Spartans took a three-goal advantage on an own goal.

The teams then traded goals from there: a penalty kick from Drury’s Megan McGrath followed by Anna Aloisie’s first goal of the year for the Spartans.

Annette Boyko also scored a goal in the win.

McGrath scored a pair of goals, and Madison Saunders and Hailey Kingsley each found the back of the net for Drury (1-5-1), which hosts Hoosac Valley on Thursday.
