LENOX, Mass. -- Behind strong play from each keeper, the Lenox and Hoosac Valley girls soccer teams played to a 1-1 draw on Friday night.

Shannon Meisberger made 11 saves for the Millionaires, and Kailynne Frederick stopped seven shots for the Hurricanes.

“This was a well-played, physical game on both sides and had almost a tournament feel to it,” Lenox coach Kyle Zinchuk said. “We each had some different looks and different opportunities at times, but both sides stayed very organized throughout the game.”

Hoosac’s Carah Cote got the scoring started in the 12th minute with an assist from Olivia Bresett.

Early in the second half, Jaclynn Hathaway set up Shelby Lynch for the equalizer.

Lenox (7-0-1) goes to Great Barrington to face Monument Mountain on Wednesday. Hoosac Valley (3-1-1) visits rival Drury on Monday.
