Wahconah Boys Edge Hoosac, Top Drury

DALTON, Mass. -- Jack Pudlo won two events Friday to lead the Wahconah boys track and field team to wins over Hoosac Valley and Drury.
 
Pudlo  took first in the long jump (16 feet, 9 inches) and triple jump (36-5). He also placed second in the 800-meter run to Drury's Connor Meehan.
 
Meehan won the event in 2 minutes, 2.8 seconds. Pudlo finished n 2:29.8.
 
Meehan also won the mile in 4:33, nearly a minute and a half better than the field.
 
Wahconah's Sam Henderson won the 100 in 12.3 seconds and the 200 in 25.2 and placed second in the shot put (37-3) behind Hoosac Valley's Dom Aquista (40-6).
 
Hoosac's Nolan Roberts won the discus (96-1) and placed third in the shot put (36-2).
 
Team scores: Wahconah 99, Hoosac Valley 36; Wahconah 113, Drury 22; Hoosac Valley 94, Drury 19.
