THORNDIKE, Mass. – The Mount Greylock girls tennis team won all four contested matches Tuesday to take a 4-1 win over second-seeded Palmer in the Western Massachusetts Class C Semi-Finals.

With the win, the Mounties get a third shot this season at top-seeded Lenox. The Mounties and Millionaires will play for a regional title at the Lenox Community Center on Friday at 4:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, Mia Patrick, Emily Oullette and Amelia Madrigal each took a point in singles, and the doubles team of Charlotte Towler and Bridget Igoe won in straight sets.

“Amelia Madrigal battled back down 5-4 in the second set to clinch the third point for Greylock,” Mount Greylock coach John Jacobbe said. “Emily Ouellette played a 2.5-hour match and gutted out a big win as well as Greylock swept all the competed matches in what was a very close and competitive match.”
