McCormack, Jackson Lead Mount Greylock Lacrosse to Win

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Michael McCormack and Cole Jackson each scored five goals to lead the Mount Greylock boys lacrosse team to a 17-3 win over Pittsfield on Thursday afternoon.
 
Liam Chenail had two goals and added two assists for the Mounties (3-1), who rebounded from a loss in Fairfield, Conn., over the weekend to remain unbeaten in Berkshire County play.
 
Matt Malloy, Jonah Kelley, Sean McCormack, Daivon Clement, Alejandro Viques-Salas and Chad Trottier each scored a goal for Mount Greylock, which led 17-1 going into the fourth quarter.
 
Pittsfield got goals from Ryan Jacoby, Alex Teichert, Jack Salatino and Andy Wright.
 
Nkolai Pixley and Ryan Nagelschmidt split time in the Generals' goal, combining for 13 saves.
 
Cal Filson and Pat Storie combined for seven stops in the Mount Greylock goal.
 
The Mounties host Bennington, Vt.'s, Mount Anthony Union on Friday at 7 p.m.
