Monument Girls, Boys Swim Past Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Caroline Bissaillon, Emma Wilbur and Anna Rubino each won a pair of events Tuesday to lead the Monument Mountain girls swimming team to a 69-25 win over Pittsfield at the Boys & Girls Club.

 

Monument also had three double winners in the boys meet, which it won, 60-32, over the Generals.

 

Bissaillon won the 50-yard freestyle in 26.58 seconds and the 500 free in 5:46.38. Wilbur won the 200 individual medley (2:22.37) and the 100 breaststroke (1:13.54). Rubino won the 100 free (1:01.81) and the 100 backstroke (1:10.37). The Monument girls also swept the relays.

 

Pittsfield got a win from Jordan Bradford in the 200 free with a time of 2:13.99.

 

For Monument’s boys, Nick Gray won the 200 free (1:56.10) and 500 free (5:16.15). Ben Wyatt won the 100 free (:53.72) and 100 breaststroke (1:10.16). And Brandon Louison won the 100 butterfly (:57.19) and 100 back (:58.37).
