Pittsfield Boys, Mount Greylock Girls Win County Titles

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Pittsfield’s Jackson Rich and Mount Greylock’s Margo Smith led their respective teams to a pair of dual meet wins on Tuesday as the Generals and Mounties claimed Berkshire County titles in a double-dual meet with Hoosac Valley.

Rich was a triple winner, taking first in the 110 hurdles, 400 hurdles and javelin. He also placed second in the high jump as PHS edged Mount Greylock, 75-66, and Hoosac, 80-56.

Smith won the mile and the two-mile to lead the Mount Greylock girls past Pittsfield, 75-66, and past Hoosac Valley, 100-41.
