Kreis Leads Mount Everett Past Lee

LEE, Mass. – Jacob Kreis went 3-for-4 Wednesday to lead the Mount Everett baseball team to a 12-1 win over Lee.
 
Kreis doubled and drove in a pair of runs in a 13-hit attack for the Eagles.
 
Matt Lowe was 2-for-4 with a double, and Michael Ullrich tripled.
 
Brodie Kinna got the win in the five-inning game, striking out six in four innings of work. Kreis took over and struck out the side in a scoreless fifth.
 
“Brodie Kinna, getting his first varsity start, settled down in the second inning and was able to go four for the win,” Mount Everett coach Dan Lanoue said.
 
Mount Everett (5-3) plays Drury on Thursday in Cooperstown, N.Y.
 
Lee (1-7) hosts Mohawk Trail on Friday.
