West Springfield Baseball Tops Taconic

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Philip Curran scattered four hits for the West Springfield baseball team Monday to earn a 5-1 win over Taconic.
 
Gavin O’Donnell went 1-for-3 and scored on Christian Salzarulo’s RBI groundout in the top of the first for the Thunder.
 
Quentin Christopher went the distance on the mound for Taconic, striking out four and allowing four earned runs.
 
The Thunder (10-7) finishes the regular season on Wednesday at home against Pope Francis.
