Frontier Pitcher Stymies Monument Mountain

SOUTH DEERFIELD, Mass. – Owen Babb scattered three hits in a complete-game effort on the mound Monday to lead the Frontier baseball team to a 4-0 win over Monument Mountain.
 
Tyler Cusson doubled and drove in a pair of runs for the Redhawks, breaking the seal on a scoreless game in the bottom of the fourth.
 
Dom Velasco, Chris Paul and Christian Blanchard each had a hit for the Spartans.
 
Jack Bissaillon went the distance on the mound for Monument Mountain, striking out seven and allowing three earned runs.
 
The Spartans (5-3) host Southwick on Tuesday.
