Pope Francis Too Strong for McCann Boys Lacrosse

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Matt Deloria scored nine goals to lead the Pope Francis boys lacrosse team to a 24-4 win over McCann Tech on Monday.

“Despite the scores, it was one of our best efforts of the season,” McCann coach Paul Lange said. “I was proud of them today.”

Nick Lincoln and Mike Moreno scored two goals apiece, and Justin Meczywor had two assists for the Hornets (0-8), who got a combined 16 saves from Jake Tower and Nico Romano.

McCann travels to face Wahconah on Tuesday.
