Jaggi Leads Wahconah Boys Past Hoosac Valley

DALTON, Mass. -- Dart Jaggi had a hat trick, and the Wahconah boys lacrosse team Monday outscored Hoosac Valley, 4-1, in the second half to earn a 9-5 win.
 
“It was a sloppy game on both ends -- raining and muddy but our guys got it done on our senior and youth night,” Wahconah coach Zach Sondrini said.
 
Dayton Kozlowski scored twice and set up a goal, and Connor Washburn and Conner Noyes each had a goal and an assist.
 
Vinny Orlandi made nine saves to earn the win between the pipes.
 
Cam Alibozek made seven saves for Hoosac Valley, which got two goals apiece from Nick Waterman and Josh Paree.
 
Hoosac Valley saw a two-game winning streak come to an end and slipped to 10-5 on the season.
 
Wahconah (13-4) plays its regular season finale on Tuesday at Stratton, Vt.
