DALTON, Mass. -- Dart Jaggi scored six goals, and the Wahconah boys lacrosse team overcame sloppy conditions and a scrappy Springfield Central squad for a 19-3 win on Saturday.

“Central is class act,” Wahconah coach Zach Sondrini said. “Great group of kids that played with utmost sportsmanship. I was very impressed with the play of Kahari Sorrew between the pipes. He had a lot of saves right on the doorstep from some of our better finishers.”

Between the pipes for Wahconah, Kyle Brogan and Joe Whitaker each made two saves while splitting time.

Matt Mathers scored twice and set up a pair of goals, and Cole Accardi had two assists in the win.

Christian Zdon and Ernie Lampron each scored twice in the victory.

Wahconah (8-4) goes to Hoosac Valley on Monday.
