New York Squad Tops Pittsfield in Boys Lacrosse

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Minisink Valley of New York scored four unanswered goals in the second quarter to take an 8-4 lead into half-time on its way to a 17-10 win over Pittsfield in boys lacrosse action on Saturday.

Sean Baruch scored five goals and added an assist, and Kevin Quinto and Ryan Jacoby each scored two goals for the Generals (2-3).

Nikolai Pixley stopped 10 shots for Pittsfield, who hosts Monument Mountain on Wednesday.
