GRANBY, Mass. -- Hunter Christman made nine saves Friday to backstop the Pittsfield boys lacrosse team to a 6-2 win over Granby.

Ray Lynch led the offense with a hat trick, and Mitchel Manning, Mason Cortis and Cam LaFerriere each scored a goal.

"We played through a tough dry afternoon in Granby," Pittsfield coach J. Nolan Tullock said. "We had some issues getting out to the field and were left with a short warm-up, but the boys still got the job done.

"We were able to shut-down their powerplay, and scored four of our six goals short-handed."

Pittsfield (10-3) goes to Monson on Wednesday.
