Bishop's Blasts Drive Drury Past Lenox

LENOX, Mass. -- Brooke Bishop homered twice in the same inning Tuesday to highlight the Drury softball team’s 25-6 win over Lenox.
 
The freshman catcher hit a solo shot and a three-run homer.
 
Bishop and Mackenzie Dobbert each went 3-for-5 at the plate. Dobbert doubled in the third and tripled in the fourth.
 
The Blue Devils also got doubles from Caroline Cellana, Marley Brothers and Rachael Barrows.
 
Hailey Ano hit one out of the park for the Millionaires in the bottom of the first.
 
Anna Nelson and Camryn O'Dell pitched for Lenox.
 
Olivia Perry earned the win in the circle for Drury, striking out seven while allowing four hits.
 
The Blue Devils (4-0) host Taconic on Wednesday.
 
Lenox hosts Mount Everett on Thursday.
