Wahconah Softball Rolls over Frontier

SOUTH DEERFIELD, Mass. – Casey Wilson went 4-for-5 with a home run, and Avery Vale-Cruz homered and drove in eight runs Tuesday to lead the Wahconah softball team to a 16-0 win over Frontier.

 

Vale-Cruz struck out 16, walked none and allowed just two hits in a six-inning complete game win in the circle.

 

Dani Barry, Emma Belcher, Olivia Iovieno and Vale-Cruz each had three hits in an 18-hit Wahconah attack.

 

Wahconah (3-0) hosts Turners Falls on Thursday.
