Hornets Come from Behind, Punch Ticket for State Tourney

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Jacob Howland scored 17 points Monday as the McCann Tech boys basketball team came from behind to beat Hampden Charter, 50-38, for the Hornets’ 10th win this season and a berth in the Division 5 State Tournament.
 
Eric Rougeau scored eight of his 13 points in the fourth quarter, when McCann Tech outscored the visitors, 25-8, to overcome a 30-25 deficit.
 
Walter Mazza scored 14 in the win, McCann Tech’s sixth straight.
 
The Hornets (10-3) go to Duggan Academy on Thursday.
