Big Third Quarter Lifts Eagles Past Mount Greylock

SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Jason Peck and Sean Warren scored 18 points apiece, and the Mount Everett boys basketball team Tuesday exploded for 32 points in the third quarter of a 68-57 win over Mount Greylock.
 
The Mounties led, 33-23, at half-time.
 
But in the third, Warren hit three of his six 3-pointers, and Peck scored eight, going 4-for-4 at the foul line.
 
The Eagles shot 19-of-24 from the free throw line for the game. Michael Ullrich converted eight of his 12 foul shots on his way to scoring 17 points.
 
Matt Lowe added 12 points in the win.
 
Mount Greylock got 19 points from Chase Doyle and 13 from Adam Sandfier.
 
The Mounties (2-4) hosts Mohawk Trail on Thursday.
 
Mount Everett (5-2) goes to Westfield Tech on Monday.
