Osorio Named Tourney MVP as Taconic Boys Win at Maple Hill

CASTLETON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Quincy Davis led a balanced scoring attack with nine points as the Taconic boys basketball team defeated host Maple Hill Friday in the championship game of the Maple Hill Holiday Hoopfest.
 
Christian Womble and Josh Tayi each scored eight, and Jayden Cross and Javier Osorio added seven and six, respectively, as Taconic improved to 3-4 on the season.
 
Cross was named to the all-tournament team, and Osorio was named the tournament’s most valuable player.
 
Taconic goes to Lenox on Tuesday.
