Jackson Shoots Pittsfield Boys Past Wahconah

DALTON, Mass. -- Craig Jackson scored 18 points on six 3-pointers Wednesday to lead the Pittsfield boys basketball team to a 48-45 win over Wahconah.
 
Jackson connected four times from beyond the arc in the third quarter as the Generals outscored Wahconah, 16-11, to take a five-point lead into the fourth.
 
Collin Frinks scored eight, and Donte Cruz had six for Pittsfield.
 
Wahconah was led by Kevin Huban with a game-high 22 and Tommy Burris with 12.
 
Both Pittsfield (13-7) and Wahconah (14-5) each learn Saturday when and against whom it will open play in next week’s Western Massachusetts tournaments.
