WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Nunu Brown and Makai Shepardson each scored 16 points, and the Pittsfield boys basketball team won its fifth straight, beating West Springfield, 81-52, on Tuesday night.
 
Malachi Perry just missed a triple-double, scoring nine points to go with 10 rebounds and nine assists.
 
He might have gotten there, but with a 62-37 lead going into the fourth quarter, the Generals’ starters played just one possession in that period.
 
Marcello Ariente scored nine, and Patrick Brennan added eight as 10 different Generals made a mark in the scorebook.
 
Pittsfield (11-5) hosts Minnechaug on Wednesday.
