Big First Half Propels Central Girls Past Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Springfield Central jumped out to a 32-10 half-time lead and held off Pittsfield’s comeback bid in the second half to take a 52-38 win on Tuesday night.

 

Madison Stetz scored 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Generals.

 

Kyana Summers finished with 11 points, six rebounds and five assists.

 

Pittsfield (0-2) goes to UMass Amherst on Saturday to play Westfield.
