Stanley Kubrick's psychological horror movie "The Shining" (1980, rated R) will screen Friday, Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. Considered one of the most influential thrillers of all time, the film follows Jack (Jack Nicholson) and Wendy (Shelley Duvall) Torrance as they oversee a remote hotel in the Colorado Rockies over the winter.

The Mahaiwe will show "Roman Holiday" (1953, rated G) on Monday, Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. as a special Valentine's Day screening. Starring Gregory Peck as Joe the reporter and Audrey Hepburn as Ann the royal belle, the film is a classic staple of the romantic comedy genre.

"Remember" the Titans (2000, rated PG) will screen Saturday, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. Denzel Washington portrays Herman Boone, the coach of a high school football team during their first season as a racially integrated squad.

The Mahaiwe will screen the comedy "The Gods Must Be Crazy" (1980, rated PG) on Friday, March 4 at 7 p.m. A glass bottle falls from a plane in the sky, setting South African hunter-gatherer Xi on a journey of bizarre encounters and events.
