Thomas J. Bulshey, 83

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Thomas James Bulshey, 83, of 37 Fuller St. died Sunday July 7, 2013, at his home.       Born in North Adams on July 27, 1929, son of Thomas J. and Elsie Leighfield Bulshey, he attended local schools and graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1947.     An Army veteran of the Korean War, he served in the with the 103rd Artillery Battalion.    Mr. Bulshey worked as a mechanic and millwright for many years. He was the proprietor of Tom's Mobil on State Road for 10 years. He was last employed by Excelsior Process and Engraving as a press operator until his retirement in 1993.      He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. He enjoyed bowling and oil painting landscapes. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.    He leaves his wife, the former Joan Ann Rivers, whom he married on May 9, 1953; a son, Mark T. Bulshey and his significant other, Helen Y. Gardner, of the town of Florida; two daughters, Lisa A. Peloquin and her husband, Ronald, of Southampton and Dawn F. Brady and her husband, Eugene, of Holyoke; four grandchildren, Erica Bulshey of Dalton, Danielle Bulshey of Florida, Nicole Derby and her husband, Travis, of Hinsdale and Casey Peloquin of Westfield.     His sister, Elsie Elizabeth Wallace, is deceased.     FUNERAL NOTICE - The funeral for Mr. Bulshey will be Thursday, July 11, at 10 from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St. North Adams, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.   Calling hours will be Wednesday, July 10, from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society Northern Berkshire Relay for Life in care of the funeral home.
