Sandra A. Lafontaine, 67

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Sandra A. Lafontaine, 67, of 508 Horrigan Road died Monday, July 8, 2013, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield surrounded by her daughters. Born in North Adams on July 3, 1946, daughter of Richard Dubie Sr. and Gladys Davis Dubie, she was a 1964 graduate of the former St. Joseph's High School.    Lafontaine was last employed as a representative payee at the Louison House Family Life Support Center.   She enjoyed reading, word searches and watching "NCIS" television show marathons. Her favorite thing was spending time with her family, especially her four granddaughters.      Her husband, David C. Lafontaine, whom she married on June 18, 1966, died on Aug. 11, 1973.      She leaves her two daughters, Kim Lafontaine, with whom she shared her home, and Lisa Thibert and her husband, Arthur "AJ" of Clarksburg; her brother, Richard F Dubie Jr. of Adams; four granddaughters, Jacklyn and Allison Therrien, and Jamie and Tessa Thibert of Clarksburg; her "sister," Frances Slick of North Adams; nieces and nephews including Rick Dubie of Newington, Conn., Dickilyn MacKinnon of Pittsfield and Chad Dubie of the state of Florida, and cousins and many friends.     She was predeceased by her granddaughter Lacey Rae Thibert and her mother- and father-in-law, Omer and Isabella Luczynski Lafontaine.   FUNERAL NOTICE - The funeral for Lafontaine will be Friday, July 12, at 8:15 a.m. from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church.  Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.   Calling hours will be Thursday, July 11, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sandi Lafontaine Grandchildren's Education Fund in care of the funeral home.
