Cecile G. Bombardier, 94
CLARKSBURG, Mass. â€' Cecile G. Bombardier, 94, of 724 Daniels Road died Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, at North Adams Commons.
Born in Canada on July 23, 1919, a daughter of Mathias and Mariange Robert Contois, she attended the former Notre Dame Parochial School.
Mrs. Bombardier was employed for 44 years at the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams, retiring in 1980.
She was a communicant of the former Notre Dame Church in North Adams. She enjoyed knitting and sewing.
Her husband, George E. Bombardier, whom she married May 27, 1944, died Oct. 27, 2005.
She leaves her sister, Theresa King of Clarksburg, and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Roger Contois and Gerard Contois.
FUNERAL NOTICE â€' Funeral services for Mrs. Bombardier will take place Tuesday, Sept. 10, at 11 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
A calling hour will held from 10 to 11 on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested for the Clarksburg Volunteer Fire Department or to VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire through the funeral home.
