John D. Shaw, 70
STAMFORD, Vt. - John Davis Shaw, 70, of Main Road died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, at his home.
Born in Ann Arbor, Mich., on Aug. 3, 1943, a son of Marion Davis Shaw of Williamstown, Mass., and the late Alex J. Shaw, longtime Williams College basketball coach, he attended schools in Williamstown and graduated from Williston Academy in Easthampton, Mass.
An Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, he served from 1963 to 1967.
Mr. Shaw enjoyed working with computers and HAM radio, under the call signal K1DEU.
Besides his mother, he leaves several cousins and an aunt.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Graveside services for Mr. Shaw will take place in the spring in the family plot in the Williams College Cemetery. Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.
