Jeffrey D. Hoag, 47
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Jeffrey Dayton Hoag, 47, of 77 Holbrook St. died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014, at his home.
Born in Cambridge, N.Y., on Feb. 27, 1967, son of Alan Hoag and Myra Slocum Geib, he graduated from Hoosick Falls High School.
Mr. Hoag was a self-employed contractor operating his own business, Hoag's Carpentry.
He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and landscaping.
He and his wife, the former Kerry Rivard, were married on June 6, 1998.
Besides his wife, he leaves four daughters, Katelin Rivard and her fiance, Luis Rivera of Adams, Amanda Hoag and her husband, Alan Robinette, and Kiersten Hoag, all of Pittsfield, and Karissa Hoag and her fiance, James Arnold Jr., of North Adams; three brothers, Ralph Stone, Steven Stone and Fred Hoag; five sisters, Tina Stone, Tammie Woods, Melinda Prebble, Frederica Neville and Cynthia Hoag; six grandchildren, Christian, Alexa, Cameron, Jasiah, Lilliana and Aliyah; his mother-in-law, Charlene Lawson of North Adams, and nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A calling hour for Mr. Hoag will be held Tuesday, Sept. 16, from 5 to 6 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home.
