Joseph A. Columbus, 62
PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Joseph Alfred Columbus, 62, of 12 Willow St. died Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at Hillcrest Commons.
Born in Troy, N.Y., on March 21, 1953, son of Joseph James and Elaine Moon Columbus, he attended schools in Troy.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Columbus was last employed by Magnus Molding. Before that, he worked at WR Grace and its successor company, Polyfibron Technologies, for 25 years.
He enjoyed bowling and was an avid Green Bay Packers football fan.
He leaves a son, Steven J. Columbus of Edison, N.J.; his sister, Patricia Goyette of Granville, N.Y., and two grandchildren, Tyler and Kylie.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Calling hours for Mr. Columbus will be Monday, March 30, from 4 to 7 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in care of the funeral home.
