Anthony M. Corsi, 62

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Anthony Martin Corsi, 62, of Hermon Avenue died Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, as a result of an automobile accident in North Adams.
Born in North Adams on Aug. 24, 1953, son of Vincent Robert and Mary Frances Hamilton Corsi, he attended local schools and graduated from McCann Technical School with the class of 1972. He also graduated from Berkshire Community College.
A Navy veteran, he served from 1976 to 1980.
Mr. Corsi was employed by National Grid in its Great Barrington office for more than 20 years. Prior to that, he had worked at the former General Electric Co.
He attended Stamford (Vt.) Community Church. He was a former member of the local chapter of the Vietnam Veterans of America. He enjoyed working with remote control airplanes and loved the outdoors, especially skiing and hiking.
He leaves his wife, the former Linda Beth Pierce, whom he married on Sept. 21, 1985; a son, Andrew Martin Corsi, a student at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston; a daughter, Laura Beth Corsi, a student at McCann; two sisters, Gloria Kennedy of North Adams and Maria Williams of Glastonbury, Conn.; his father- and mother-in-law, Elaine and James Pierce of Clarksburg; his aunt, Joan Hamilton of Adams, and nieces, nephews and cousins.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A memorial service for Mr. Corsi will be held Saturday, Oct. 24, at 11 from Stamford Community Church. Burial will be private.
