Nathan Alan Lull, 64

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Nathan Alan Lull, 64, formerly of North Adams, died Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016, at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield.

Born in Ann Arbor, Mich., on April 13, 1951, son of Roger and Evelyn Rasch Lull.  He attended Williamstown schools and graduated from Mount Greylock Regional School with the class of 1969. He attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and the former North Adams State College.

Mr. Lull had been employed in construction, and more recently as a taxi cab driver in North Adams.  

He did volunteer work throughout the community and was a communicant of the former St. Francis of Assisi Church.

His wife, the former Jane Elizabeth Gwozdz, whom he married on Oct. 29, 1982, died in 2009.

He leaves a sister, Daphne Lull of Castiglione in Teverina, Viterbo, Italy; three brothers, Martin Lull of North Adams, Timothy Lull of Pittsfield and Clifford Lull of Greenfield, and nieces, nephews, cousins and several close friends.

FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mr. Lull will be celebrated Monday, Jan. 18, at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church.  Burial will be in the spring in Southview Cemetery.

A calling hour will be held Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St. North Adams.

Very sad. He became a close friend of my brother David and was a good, kind person. I wish I could attend the funeral but I will be away that day.
