Michael V. Malloy, 72

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Michael Victor Malloy, 72, of North Adams died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016, at his home.
Born in North Adams on Dec. 18, 1943, a son of Robert and Harselia Lefaive Malloy, he graduated from the former Williamstown High School.
Mr. Malloy was employed as a car salesman for several years in the state Michigan and in Pittsfield. He also was a bartender at the former Grandmother's.
He enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his family. He was a former communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Williamstown, where he was an altar server in his younger years.
He leaves his wife, the former Jamie Daub, whom he married in 2005; three daughters, Rita Ann Malloy of North Adams and Jennifer Lorenz and Michelle Malloy, both of Michigan; a stepson, James Quin III of Mississippi; a sister, Roberta Skovera and her husband, John, of Williamstown; a brother, Roger Malloy of North Adams; several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mr. Malloy will take place Tuesday, March 1, at 3 p.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 1 to 3. Memorial donations are suggested through the funeral home.
