NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Susan Shepard, 57, of 10 Frederick St. died on Sunday, March 13, 2016, surrounded by her family.

She was born in North Adams on July 17, 1957, a daughter of Rita Oslizlo and the late Francis Accetta. She attended local schools, including St Joseph Catholic School.

She worked at the Williams Inn, then at the Crowne Plaza. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and motorcycle rides with her longtime companion Paul Massari.

In addition to Massari her her mother, she is survived by her sons, John Braman and his fiancé Nicole Soules and Michael Shepard and his fiancé Brenda Gardner; daughter Dawn Shepard and her partner Sherry Pinsonneault; sisters Kristin Accetta and Jody Disanti and her fiancé Jeffrey Clemons; several nieces and nephews; and her former husband and friend, William Shepard.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Leslie Anderson and Karen Binkowski.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 19, 2 p.m. in the Paciorek Funeral Home at 13 Hoosac St. in Adams. Burial will be at a later date.
