Anthony L. Morin, 82

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Anthony Louis "Lou" Morin, 82, of North Adams died Monday, May 30, 2016, at Berkshire Medical Center.
He was born in North Adams on June 14, 1933, son of Edward and Virginia (Loholdt) Morin. He attended local schools. Lou was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Lou was last employed by Williams College in its Food Service Department for 24 years until his retirement in 2013. Before that, he was employed at Green Mountain Race Track from 1963 until it closed. He began his working career with the family business, Morin Roofing.
He was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Lou enjoyed college basketball and football and was an avid fan of the men's and women's basketball teams at Williams College.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Bell (Van Guilder) Morin, whom he married August 15, 1976; one daughter, Barbara Cooper and her husband Ron of North Adams; stepchildren, including Kathy Malinowski of North Adams, James Lincoln of Shaftsbury, Vt., and Susan Jacobson of Cambridge, N.Y.; four grandchildren, including Laura Malinowski, Marc Malinowski, Austin Cooper and Brodie Cooper; one sister, Sidney Taft of North Adams; and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Malinowski.
Funeral notice: Graveside services for Lou Morin will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at 10 a.m. in Southview Cemetery.
