Thomas W. Goss, 57

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 11, 2016, from 10 a.m. to noon at the MCLA Feigenbaum Science and Innovation Center, 71 Blackinton St., in honor of Thomas William Goss, 57, who passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 14, 2016, at his home in Glen Allen, Va.

Tom was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend who will be remembered for his generosity, selflessness and charisma.

Happiest when he was helping or cooking for others, especially the less fortunate, Tom touched the lives of many through his acts of kindness.

A 1977 graduate of Drury High School, Tom was captain of the football team and participated in many other school activities. He also attended the former North Adams State College, now MCLA.

Prior to retiring due to illness, he worked for many years as a land development consultant with Patten Corporation, BlueGreen and Redstone Properties.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Julie George-Goss; his three children, Alexandra Katherine, Victoria Margaret and Connor James; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Ronald Goss; siblings Ronald Goss, Kathleen Wall, Nancy Goss O'Brien and Timothy Goss; and many loving friends and extended family.

The Thomas Goss Education Memorial Fund has been established in his memory and contributions may be sent to the Wells Fargo Bank, 11290 Nuchols Rd, Glen Allen VA 23059.
