Amber L. Baker, 46

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Amber Leigh Baker 46, of North Adams died July 13, 2016, at Berkshire Medical Center.
She was born in North Adams on April 28, 1970, a daughter of Dyane (Bergeron) Baker and the late James R. Baker. She graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1988 and attended Southern Seminary College in Roanoke, Va. She was last employed for Hospice of The Berkshires.
Amber was an accomplished equestrian and was a riding instructor and therapeutic riding teacher at several area horse farms, including Oak Hollow Farm and Clover Hill Farm both in Williamstown. She loved all animals, especially horses and dogs.
Survivors include her mother Dyane Baker; sister Breck Baker; and a special friend James DePaoli. Amber also leaves her dogs Sherman and Puppy.
Funeral notice: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Amber Baker will be celebrated Thursday, July 21, 2016, at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church.
Calling hours are Wednesday, July 20, 2016, from 5-7 p.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St. North Adams. Memorial donations are suggested for the New Hampshire Doberman Rescue group through the funeral home.
