OTIS, Mass. — Vini Lawrence, 82, of South Main Street, Otis, died Saturday, August 6, 2016, at BayState Medical Center in Springfield.

Vini was born January 8, 1934, in Copehagen, Denmark, the daughter of Viggo and Svea Svensson and was raised and educated in Denmark. She moved to Otis in 1955 and in November of the same year she married Jeremiah "Jerry" Lawrence. He died April 18, 2015.

Besides enjoying time spent with her family, Mrs. Lawrence was also a member of the Otis Senior Citizens.

Vini leaves behind her son, Jeremiah J. Lawrence of Spenser, Mass.; her daughter, Kathleen M. Quinn of Otis, Mass.; and her four grandchildren, Thomas, Nicole, Amber and Peter.

Funeral notice: A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 11, at 1:30 p.m. at the Otis Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main St., Lee.
