ADAMS, Mass. — Mrs. Deborah Lee Giard-Bell, 56, of Adams died on Sunday, August 14, 2016, at her home.

She was born in Troy, N.Y., on January 9, 1960, daughter of the late Clovis and Dorothy (Tifft) Giard. She attended schools in New York and Massachusetts and graduated from Western New England College with an Associate's Degree in English and a Bachelor's Degree in History.

Mrs. Giard-Bell was a child care worker for the Hillcrest Educational Center in Pittsfield.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Giard-Bell, whom she married on October 17, 1992; and by her daughter, Kaeleigh Giard-Bell.
