John 'Jack' Main Jr., 61

ADAMS, Mass. — Mr. John G. "Jack" Main Jr., 61, of Adams and Windsor, Mass., died Monday afternoon, October 3, 2016, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
He was born in Norwalk, Conn., on October 4, 1954, a son of the late John G. Main, Sr. and Jeanne J. (Evon) Main. He attended schools in Connecticut and Massachusetts, including C.H. McCann Technical School in North Adams.
Jack worked as a construction electrician and foreman for National Grid for the past 35 years.
He was a member of the Parish of St. John Paul II at Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church, Adams. He was a member of I.B.E.W Local 486; the Florida (MA) Mountaineers and Savoy Kanary Kats Snowmobile Clubs; The Adams Sno-Drifters; the Harley Owner's Club; and the Greylock Community Club in North Adams.
He was an avid biker and was part of the very first Custom City Cycle Fall Run. He also enjoyed snowmobiling, boating and taking trips to Island Pond, Vt.
He is survived by his wife, the former Nancy J. Malloy, whom he married on August 4, 1984; his son, Matthew J. Main of Adams; two brothers, Peter Main and his wife Kathy of Pittsfield and D. Michael Main and his wife Danae of Viera, Fla.; a sister, Patricia Morandi and her husband Kevin of Pittsfield; several nieces and nephews, including Heather Main, Marissa Kirchner and her husband Matt, and Kyle Morandi; and several brothers- and sisters-in-law and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral notice: The funeral will be held on Saturday, October 8, at 9 a.m. from the Paciorek Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church, Adams, celebrated by Rev. Steven Montesanti, Pastor. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams.
