Michael Ewchor, 96

DALTON, Mass. — Michael Ewchor passed away November 3, 2016, at Craneville Place. He was 96. 

Michael attended New York University and was employed as a chemist until his  retirement. He served in the Navy Seabees during World War II and was stationed in the Philippines and Guam. 

Michael enjoyed gardening, playing chess, and was an avid reader. 

He leaves his daughter, Dolores (Dee) Farrell, her husband, Rob, and his grandson, Brett; and many nieces and nephews. 

The family would like to thank Craneville Place for the loving care they gave to Michael.

Funeral notice: Funeral services for Michael Ewchor will be held Monday, November 7, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 a.m., at St. Agnes Church celebrated by Rev. Christopher A. Malatesta, Pastor. Burial will follow later in the day at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery in Paramus, N.J. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Agnes Church in care of Dery-Foley Funeral Home, 890 East Main Street, Dalton.
