NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — David Clifford Norman Henry Benoit Sr., 72, of North Adams died Sunday, November 6, 2016, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

He was born in North Adams on January 29, 1944, a son to the late Eunice (Benoit) DiGennaro. He attended schools in North Adams. He was last employed by the City of North Adams in its cemetery department.

Mr. Benoit is survived by two daughters, Mary Benoit of North Adams and Eunice Benoit of Adams; three sons, David C.N.H. Benoit Jr., Allan Benoit and Daniel Benoit all of North Adams; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Russell and Peter Toromino and Vincent DiGennaro; and many nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by several brothers and sisters.
