CHESHIRE, Mass. — Dorothy M. Raimer, 86, of Cheshire died Sunday evening, November 13, 2016, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. 

She was born in Adams on November 25, 1929, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Burke) Raimer, and attended Adams schools. Dorothy last worked at Aladco in Adams for many years, until her retirement. Earlier, she had worked at the former Adams Super Market and Berkshire Fine Spinning Co., both in Adams. 

She had been a member of the United Methodist Church of Cheshire. 

She is survived by her daughter, Margaret "Penny" Kenyon, with whom she resided; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. 

She was predeceased by her brothers, John, Francis "Butch,” Thomas "Chuck,” Matthew "Mickey,” and Karl "Skip" Raimer; and by her sisters, Helen Malloy, Mary Raimer and Elizabeth Dupee. 

Funeral notice: Funeral services for Dorothy will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the Paciorek Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St. Adams. Rev. Donald E. Gray, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Adams will officiate. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams.
