Cecilia I. Bressette, 87

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Cecilia Irene (Baker) Bressette, 87, of North Adams, formerly of Williamstown, Mass., died on Thursday, December 15, 2016, at her home.
She was born in North Pownal, Vt., a daughter to the late George E. Baker and Irene (DeCoigne) Baker. She attended schools in North Pownal. She was last employed with General Cable Corporation for 32 years.
She was a communicant of St. Raphael’s Church in Williamstown and a past president of the Ladies Auxiliary Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #310.
Her husband, Richard Joseph Bressette, whom she married on June 30, 1948, died on July 12, 2013.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Noyes and her husband Timothy of Clarksburg, Mass.; two sons, Kevin Bressette of Pownal, Vt., and Steven Bressette of Chatham, Mass.; seven grandchildren, Rebecca, Tabitha, Jedidiah and Jaycee Bressette, Stephanie Potts, Elizabeth Brown and Sara Martin; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by one son, Dale Bressette; three grandchildren, Alicia, Joshua and Jessica Bressette; four sisters, Jean Fachini, Charlotte Aleksonis, Bonnie Day and Lillian Brothers; and five brothers, Bernard, Leroy, Kenneth, Elmer and George Baker.
Funeral notice: A funeral service to celebrate the life of Cecilia Bressette will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapel, 74 Marshall St., North Adams.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Josh Bressette Commit to Save a Life Inc., 2345 Skiparee Road, North Pownal, VT 05260.
