Henry George Deneault, 74

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Henry George Deneault, 74, of North Adams died Thursday, January 5, 2017, at Berkshire Medical Center surrounded by his family.
He was born in North Adams, Mass., on April 21, 1942, son of Henry Louis and Yvonne (Bourassa) Deneault. He attended local schools and graduated from Drury High School.
Henry was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the U.S. Navy.
He was last employed at Hoosac Valley Regional High School for 18 years until his retirement in 2004. Prior to that, he worked at Waverly Fabrics for over 20 years.
He was a communicant of the former Holy Family Church. Henry enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his two grandsons.
Survivors include his son, Kurt W. Deneault and his wife Amanda of Adams; two grandsons, Cooper George Deneault and Landyn Phillips Deneault; his sister, Shirley Garner of North Adams; and four nephews. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
Funeral notice: In accordance with his request, following cremation a memorial service for Henry Deneault will be celebrated Thursday, January 12, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 Main St., North Adams. Burial will be in the spring in Southview Cemetery.
A calling hour will be held Thursday morning from 10 to 11 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter in care of the funeral home.
