LEE, Mass. — Bradford Peter Peiffer, 82, died Wednesday morning, January 25, 2017, at his home on Stockbridge Road in Lee.

He was born in Pittsfield, Mass., on May 16, 1934, the son of Paul and Bessie Love Peiffer.

Mr. Peiffer was a 1952 graduate of Lee High School. In 1955 he graduated from the former May Engineering Company as a journeyman toolmaker.

He was a US Navy veteran, serving from 1956-1960. He was employed as a toolmaker with the General Electric Ordnance Systems retiring in 1993.

He loved woodworking, fishing and cars of all kinds.

Mr. Peiffer leaves his cherished companion, Sheila Heflin of Lee; his three daughters, Lorraine Weipert of Mühlhausen, Germany, Leah Boardman of Sheffield, Mass., and Wendy Frisbie of Becket, Mass.; and nine grandchildren.
