ADAMS, Mass. — Kathleen M. Janulewicz, 66, of Mashpee, Mass., formerly of Adams, passed away January 20, 2017, at the Falmouth Hospital in Falmouth, Mass.

Born in Adams on March 1, 1950, daughter of the late John and Helen Beauchemin O'Hagerty, she was a graduate of the former Adams Memorial High School and also graduated from the former North Adams State College with a BA in History.

Kathleen was a long time employee for the Philips Van Heusin Co. in Bourne, Mass., as a retail training manager and where she retired. While in Adams she was a member of the former St. Mark's Episcopal Church. She enjoyed reading, knitting, and soaking up the sun at the beaches on Cape Cod.

She is survived by her husband, Gary F. Janulewicz; three sons, Jonathan Janulewicz of Bridgewater, Mass., Benjamin Janulewicz of Plymouth, Mass., and Daniel Janulewicz of Agawam, Mass.; a stepson, Thomas Bernard of North Adams; a brother, Charles "Chuck" O'Hagerty and his wife Connie of Pittsfield; three grandchildren, Quinton Stelk, Nathan Janulewicz and Ryan Janulewicz; and several nieces and nephews. 

She was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Ann Galloway.

Funeral notice: Services for Kathleen will take place Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at 1 p.m. from the Trottier Pringle Funeral Home, 6 Summer St., Adams, with the Rev. Mary Frances Curns, Priest in Charge of All Saints Episcopal Church in North Adams, officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Donations in her memory can be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
